I'm 60 and my husband is 50 and we have been married 25 years why is this a problem? I think its a great arrangement.

Cougars beware having a much younger husband can send a woman to an early grave

"one of the few possible explanations is that couples with younger husbands violate social norms and thus suffer from social sanctions," sven drefahl, from the max planck institute for demographic research (mpidr) in rostock, germany, said in a news release.
such couples could therefore be stigmatized as outsiders -- receiving less social support, enduring a more stressful life and perhaps developing poorer health as a result, drefahl speculated.. please, what is your reaction to this new research finding?

What Are Your Favorite WT Quotes/Teachings? Most Ridiculous or Hilarious Ones.
by mentallyfree31 inwhen you look back over the 130 year history of wt, what is the most bizzare/ridiculous/hilarious/absurd teaching or quotes that you have found?.
one of the ones i find hilarious is during the beth-sarim affair, rutherford announced that the world was laughing and mocking them because they don't believe the resurrection is going to come to pass when they said it was.
rutherford went on to say in effect "we will show them when people start coming back from the graves"... lol.

theres no end to the nonsense in the wtbs literature but what use to make me laugh was everyone piles into a car group to go in service and the first thing out of the drivers mouth is "anyone got any calls?" I love it we just wanted to cruise around count time chat and stop for coffee or another fun one is "I have a call but its out of the territory " great than you arrive and the person says "theres too many cars they must have company lets not stop today" it was all such a waste of time.

I hate the phrase "rich spiritual food" it makes me want to gag. sometimes when I read some of the latest shenanigans of the wtbs I'm overwhelmed by the insanity it just makes you want to pull you hair out and scream.

We are soo deep in the time of the end that we might as well be living in the mariana trench. were so deep you can taste the blood you can hear the angels lock n load and the birds are licking their lips and the time continues to reduce and the smell of urgency is in the air and the door is squeaking as it shuts. did I forget anything?

Sister in my Congregation claims Jehovah always answers her prayers....including her new skirt and shoes for $20 bucks???
by Witness 007 into show you how dumb and shallow my congregation is a one of our "deeper" sisters claimed in field services that "jehovah answers all my prayers...like last week i wanted a new skirt and shoes for field service but only had $20 dollars....and would you believe i found them!!!
now i for one though well, why didn't you pray or the oil pipe in the mexican gulf to dry up...or food for the poor in haiti.
other pioneers tell of vegetables falling off trucks just when they had nothing for dinner???

the whole prayer issue drives me crazy and witnesses don't have the market on that insanity my mother a catholic tells me that whenever she loses anything she prays to st.anthony and he finds it for her everytime all my life I wondered about this anthony guy and how did he get stuck with this awful job of finding peoples crap.
